Was on the road by 6:30. All went well with some rain along the way. Stopped for a little nap near Council Bluffs, IA. Most of the time the scenery was a little drab but the farther west I went the prettier it got. When I left I80 and turned onto Hwy 26 it really got pretty. The rain had stopped and the sun was out and all was lovely.

Things are quite green this year with the spring snows
and rains.
Driving along in rather flat country you come to an
area where all of a sudden there are cliffs and lovely formations.

Shelley wanted to show me the actual Scottsbluff.
When we got there Saturday evening the park was closed.
