March 23

Another day of little to do but sit near the fans.
We did get thunder, lightning, wind and some rain last night so really humid today.
It is so hot Brian has a hard time taking a nap.  One sweats just sleeping.
We had a very interesting supper tonight.  We cooked over home made charcoal.  The pan we used to grill the meat has a tray around the bottom for broth where we cooked veggies while the meat was grilling.  The meat was pork, beef, chicken, squid, and fish all cut into strips for grilling.  The squid was jsut small squid cooked whole.

The grill is made of cement.  The live/burning
charcoal is put into that the grilling pan on top.
Broth is poured in to the pan with veggies and noodles and meat grilled on the top.

Lhong putting meat on the grill and Pan taking
soup out.

Waiting for supper to cook.
Coke is very popular here.  No sugar free but have
seen caffine free.

  1. Looks like you are eating a lot of foods that would have been out of your comfort zone in the United States. A new environment does encourage adventurous habits.
How is your heath (sugar count and such) with the different foods? Have you been able to walk a lot?
